Full-Day E-Bike and Wine Tour in Saint-Émilion from Bordeaux

Your St. Emilion E-bike and Wine Tour Itinerary

9am: Your day starts in the centre of Bordeaux where you’ll meet your guide and small group for the day at your designated meeting point (26 Rue de la Devise, 33000). Climb aboard your minivan and enjoy the quick 45-minute drive through the Bordeaux vineyards to Saint-Émilion where your wine adventure begins. (You can also choose to join the tour from St.Emilion – the meeting point here is 8 rue André Loiseau, 33330).

11am: Arriving in St.Emilion you’ll hop on your trusty e-bike and enjoy a 20-minute picturesque ride through the St.Emilion vineyards to arrive at your first château of the day for a tour and tasting. Your expert local guide will tell you all about the chateau, its winemaking process and its history. The tour will conclude with a guided wine tasting of several different wines and vintages from the chateau. Salut!

12.15 pm: Next up it's time for lunch at the chateau! You'll enjoy a delicious French picnic with a wide variety of breads, cheeses, cold meats and wine which will be enjoyed in the wonderful setting of the chateau.

2.30 pm: After lunch, you will be back on your e-Bike and off on the next leg of your wine tour to visit another prestigious St.Emilion château. Enjoy a guided tour of the chateau, learn about the estate and its methods of wine-making. And of course, end your tour with a tasting of its wines!

(Please note: We aim to ensure both chateau visits are at Grand Cru Classe chateaux however this depends on availability on the selected day. We will ensure that at least one of the visits is to a Grand Cru Classe chateaux).

4 pm: Your e-bike and wine tour will end with a leisurely cycle ride back to Saint-Émilion village where you will be guided to discover the famous cobbled streets, the cloisters and the surrounding views of the vineyards. And, for those who’d like to continue their discovery of St Emilion wines you can make a visit and tasting at a wine merchant’s cellar.

5/5.30pm: After a wonderful day visiting chateaux and tasting St.Emilion wine you will be driven back to the centre of Bordeaux.

• On this tour, you will ride approximately 20km through 4 different appellations in comfort (even uphill) and pass many stunning viewpoints so don't forget your camera!
• A minimum height restriction of 155cm/ 5.0ft applies and cyclists must be able to ride a standard bike. 
• Please dress according to the weather - closed toe shoes are recommended.
