Tour Overview
French gastronomy is renowned worldwide, with Bordeaux at the top of the country’s culinary addresses: prepare to be amazed by the locally produced cheese, desserts and wines!
This private walking tour is a historical and gastronomic tour punctuated by tastings, allowing you to discover the flavours of Bordeaux.
During the tour you will have the chance to visit the city’s landmarks and one of Bordeaux’s finest cheese shops. With a glass of wine in hand, experts will teach you all about the conservation and aging process of the cheeses at the intimate atmosphere of this affineuse’s boutique.
A Bordelaise company, renowned for its cannelés will then welcome you to taste the city’s iconic dessert. Originally made by nuns, you will be surprised to hear how its creation is linked to wine.
We will taste the "grand crus" of one of the oldest chocolate shops in Bordeaux, that's right! Chocolates also have grand crus! This family business has been an institution for the bordelais since 1915.
