You will then hop on the city's modern tram to visit the Wine Museum, Le Musée du Vin et du Négoce, which is housed in the wine cellar of an 18th century building, originally a wine merchant's home. Here you will delve into the history of Bordeaux wines as well as the role of the négociant in the preparation and distribution of these wines.

You will see some of the old chais, some of which are 300 metres long, which were built to age and blend the Bordeaux wines. These days they are used as apartments, shops, art galleries and university classrooms!
