Discover Bouvet Ladubay, producer of fine sparkling wines.The Bouvay-Ladubay house is located in Saumur in the heart of the Loire Valley, France's 3rd largest wine-producing region, and a UNESCO world heritage site since 2000. Justin-Marcel Monmousseau bought the house in 1932 and it has remained in the family ever since.
The winery welcomes visitors to discover its 8 kilometres of underground cellars dug into the local 'Tuffeau" stone. Wine lovers can even explore these unique cellars on a vintage bike. Discover the "underground cathedral", an ensemble of 35 monumental sculptures nestled in underground galleries, immerse yourself in the history of the house and learn about the bottle fermented "Méthode Traditionnelle" winemaking process.
The wines of Bouvet-Ladubay have received over 500 medals and awards, over the past decades, confirming year after year the consistency of the quality of its wines. The visit will conclude with a wine tasting of Bouvet Ladubay’s award-winning Brut de Loire collection of sparkling wines.
