For the last 10 years Xavier and Nicole Rolet have worked to create an impressive winery and consider it to be a shared project with anyone who visits. Their motto, “Non mihi, non tibi, sed nobis” means “Not mine, not yours, but ours” which signifies their enthusiasm in sharing their wines with the world.
Xavier and Nicole have a deep appreciation of nature, culture, wine and gastronomy which has helped them in creating the best wine experience for visiting guests. Alongside Xavier’s sister and brother-in-law, the Rolets have proudly built a beautiful family-run winery which welcomes guests all year round.
Using state-of-the-art production methods the Rolets are able to produce wines of the highest standards. Thanks to extensive research alongside industry experts and renowned oenologists the wines available at Chêne Bleu will leave you impressed.
Chêne Bleu are in the process of phasing in biodynamic wine production principles, so as to create chemical-free wines and environmentally-friendly products.
There are several dining options within the property, so savour the delicious French cuisine offered. The dining area presents incredible Provencal dishes made only of the freshest seasonal ingredients. There is also an outdoor terrace which offers stunning panoramic views - the perfect area for a light lunch or barbeque.

The winery is just a 45 minute drive from Avignon, and also offers luxury accommodation to any visiting wine lovers, which makes it the perfect base for discovering Provence and French wines.
Wine Visitors can enjoy free vineyard and cellar tours along with the complete tasting of 6 critically-acclaimed wines everyday during opening hours. Several lunch options prepared by the on-site chef Michel, who specialises in ethical, sustainable, organic Mediterranean cuisine, using ingredients from the La Verrière gardens and local producers are also available.
Please note: The winery organises several events throughout the summer period at the vineyard! Apéro Bleu takes place every Wednesday evening from 5-8:30pm, and features specially-prepared aperitif platters prepared by chef Michel to share with friends or family while watching the sun set over the Provençal countryside. Wine by the glass or bottle sold separately.
